February 20th is World Social Justice Day and we believe in honor of this day, everyone should seize the opportunity to learn more about social justice and the many issues that fall underneath it. Given this, we chose to highlight Environmental Racism and the Faith Based Response to Climate Change. Join us in the discussion, learn more about environmental racism and how it affects people of color, how people of faith and faith communities should respond to climate change, and the steps you can take to get involved and take action. We have Charlotte Lehmann from Bull Run Unitarian Universalist as well as their Green Team speaking, Aisha Cozad from Climate Reality, Occoquan District Supervisor Kenny Boddye, and Karen Campblin from the NAACP. Our hope is for this webinar to not only be informative but also serve as a starting point for people of faith who recognize climate action as a moral responsibility and would like to get involved but do not necessarily know how. Hope to see you tuning in!
